With a total area of 750 hectares, VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park is strategically positioned near Vinh City, ensuring convenient transportation connections and international standard infrastructure. Despite its recent establishment in September 2015, VSIP Nghe An has become a shining destination for investment in Nghe An province and the North Central Coast region. 

Established based on Decision No. 10/2015/QD-TTg issued on April 3, 2015, by the Prime Minister, VSIP Nghe An is developed by VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of VSIP Group) as the investor, with the Investment Certificate granted by the Management Board of Southeast Economic Zone. Construction officially commenced in September 2015 on a 750-hectare site, including 367.6 hectares designated for industrial development.

As of February 2021, VSIP Nghe An has attracted 28 committed investors (including 12 FDI projects and 16 domestic projects), covering an approximate area of 198 hectares (including infrastructure). These projects account for over 52% of the industrial land in the project, with an expected registered investment capital of around $500 million USD and the potential to create employment for 45,000 to 50,000 workers. Among them, 27 projects have been granted Investment Certificates or Business Certificates, with a registered investment capital of 6,851 billion VND (equivalent to over $296 million USD). Currently, 14 projects are operational, 6 projects are under construction, and 8 projects are undergoing investment procedures.

VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd. has completed the basic infrastructure of Phase 1 covering approximately 226 hectares, including internal roads, lighting, water supply, drainage, wastewater treatment plants, and firefighting stations. The investor is currently investing in the construction of Phase 2 infrastructure, which includes 3 additional roads covering 142 hectares. For Zone C, 12 internal roads and Phase 1A drainage system (37.38 hectares) have been completed, while Phase 1B landfilling (45.44 hectares) is currently underway.
